Terms of Service
A&S Tree Surgeons we provide tree cutting services, including tree removal, tree trimming, tree pruning, and stump grinding. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the provision of our services to our clients. By hiring us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Scope of Work
We will provide the services outlined in our proposal or agreement, which includes the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms. Additonally, we reserve the right to modify the scope of work if circumstances arise that are beyond our control.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel the services with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $100. If we cancel the services due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule the services at no additional cost to you.
Property Damage
We will take all necessary precautions to avoid damaging your property. If damage occurs, we will repair or replace the damaged property at our expense.​
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the services, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept payment by cash, credit card, or cheque. A late payment fee of 10% per month will be applied to unpaid balances.
Safety and Liability
We will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of people, property, and the environment. You agree to hold harmless A&S Tree Surgeons, its employees, and subcontractors against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the services. We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, unless we have been notified of their existence.
Insurance and Certification
We maintain liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance.
Our arborists are certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and follow industry best practices.
Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
Acceptance
By hiring A&S Tree Surgeons, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
